Detailed Day-wise Itinerary

Our taxi will pick you up from Manali and journey toward Gonboranjon via Shinkula pass. It is around 123 km from Manali and an overnight stay at Gonboranjon.

After enjoying a wonderful breakfast, begin your drive towards Phuktal Monastery, one of the most iconic and largest monasteries in the Zanskar region.

Please note: Our driver will drop off at Purne, from Purne you will need to walk to Phuktal monastery as there is no motorable road connecting directly to the monastery, and overnight stay at Phuktal Monastery.

After an early Morning at phutal monastery, begin your walk back to purne. Enjoy the fresh mountain air. Once you reach purne and begin the Drive toward Padum and you can also visit the Bardan Monastery and drop off to hotel.

Drive for sightseeing in Zanskar, visit Zangla Palace, Zangla Nunnery monastery, Stongday monastery, and back to the hotel overnight at Padum.

In the morning, you will drive for sightseeing around Padum. You will visit Sani Monastery, Stakrimo Monastery, and back to Padum after lunch. You can visit Karsha Monastery and Karsha Nunnery Monastery, and back to Padum overnight stay at Padum.

After the wonderful breakfast, drive toward Leh Via Chader Road, which is a newly constructed road.

Please note: Initially, traffic movement on this road was regulated to a specific day of the week. Which are Sundays and Wednesdays. From Padum to Leh, it is around 170 km and it takes 5 to 6 hours. And drop off at the hotel.
